Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- Individual type 2 Diabetes registered for the first time in the Diabetic clinic. 2- Able to speak and comprehend English, Hindi or Urdu. 3- Able to give and complete consent forms in English, Hindi or Urdu. 4- Able and willing to participate in small Group education sessions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Pregnant women, including those diagnosed with gestational diabetes. 2- Individuals who have been in active treatment for cancer in the past year. 3-Individuals who are currently or have previously participated in a similar program or study. 4-Individuals who are not able and willing to undergo metabolic control tests. 5- Individuals who had severe enduring mental health problems. 6- Individuals who are not primarily responsible for their own care

Blood glucose(FBS and 2hPP), Hemoglobin A1c levels,Timepoint: At baseline, after 3 months (Mid test) and after Six months.
