Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Above 18 years of age will be eligible for participation into the study -ICU stay of more than 24 hrs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All patients without PCT, NTProBNP measurements on ICU admission would be excluded
