Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with moderate to severe persistent asthma currently receiving inhalation therapy for at least one month duration.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children who required systemic steroids in last one month. 2. Children who required emergency visit in last one month.

MeasureTime frame
Change in forced expiratory volume in first second (FEV 1) from baseline to end of the treatmentTimepoint: Every 2 weeks up to 12 weeks.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Change in peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) from baseline to end of the treatment, Asthma control as per GINA guidelines (controlled, partly controlled, uncontrolled), use of reliever medication, number of emergency visits.Timepoint: Every 2 weeks up to 12 weeks.
