Intervention1: Dhatri Lauha Vati: 1 tab of 250mg tds with luke warm water before meal for 90 days Control Intervention1: Pandughni Vati: 2 tab of 250mg tds with luke warm water before meal for 90 days

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with clinical signs & symptoms of Pandu described in Ayurvedic classics & modern literature. 2. Patients of 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy. 3. Patients having Hb equal to or less than 10gm% and more than 6.5gm% 4. Microcytic hypocromic appereance of RBC in peripheral smear.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from pregnancy related complications like PIH, hyper emesis gravidarum, pre eclampsia etc. 2. 1st trimester of pregnancy. 3. Patients having with high risk pregnancy. 4. Patients having Hb% count less than 6.5gm% & more than 10gm%.
