Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 2. Clinically diagnosed sepsis with at least two screening tests positive such as mESR, CRP, CBC. 3. No antibiotic treatment before blood sample collection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Surgical procedures 2. Maternal history of infections, inflammations or antibiotic therapy before delivery 3. Apgar score 4. Presence of congenital malformations.
