15-20% of total calories Fat: 15-20% of total calories Saturated fat: 7% of total calories Polyunsaturated fat: Up to 10% of total calories Monounsaturated fat: Up to 20% of total calories Cholesterol

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: •Age between 20 and 65 years •Both sexes •Patients having type IIab dyslipidemia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 20 years and more than 65 years 2. Patients having other types of dyslipidemia 3. Any kind of continuous drug therapy including oral contraceptive pills 4. Presence of severe concomitant disease 5. Stage II hypertension malignant hypertension and isolated systolic hypertension 6. Organ failure 7. Pregnancy, breast feeding and likelihood of pregnancy
