Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All admitted ICU patients will be assessed and included if they were 18 yrs old and will be expected to be in ICU for 48 hrs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Post operative CTVS patients as on heparin infusions. • Diagnosed PE/ DVT on anticoagulants. . Patients with Valvular heart heart disease / valve replacement on anticoagulants. . Recently (With in 48 hrs)Thrombolysed patients or Acute MI and acute stroke(CVA) .Additional exclusions included pregnancy, congenital coagulation or life support withdrawal
