Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Acute watery diarrhoea of less than three days duration with dehydration.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Bloody diarrhoea Concomitant illness: In adults this includes malignancy, sepsis, and a history of coronary artery disease or stroke.
