Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients admitted to the ICU requiring central venous cannulation 2) 20 to 60 years age, male or female

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Infection at the site of IJV cannulation 2) Distorted anatomy due to defect/injury/previous surgery 3) Having arrhythmias and disorders like atrial fibrillation, premature beats, bundle branch blocks.
