Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients meeting all of the following criteria will be eligible for study participation: • Patients of either gender, between age group 25-60 years. • Patients suffering from any of the symptoms of internal hemorrhoids .i.e. bleeding, pain (including discomfort and tenesmus during defaecation or any other time), heaviness, pruritus and mucus discharge • Physical signs of hemorrhoids was determined objectively by the consultant surgeon using proctoscopy. • Patients using topical agents for hemorrhoidal disease (may be included after a wash out period of one week if symptoms and signs persists or recurs). • Diabetic patients who have HbA1C • Controlled hypertension. • Controlled thyroid disorders.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Anal fissure • Fistula in ano • Inflammatory bowel disease • Chronic alcoholism • Recreational drug abuse • Coagulation disorders • External piles • Patients with previous history of surgery for hemorrhoids • Hypertrophic anal papillae • Patients having Hb. of • Malignancies of the rectum • Leukaemic disorders • Patients with obstruction of portal circulation. • Pregnancy leading to obstruction of the portal circulation. • Lactating mother. • Inability to comply with the study protocol, including psychiatric diseases
