Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age > 18â??50 years Cough symptoms for 24 hours or less Willing to give written consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age Pregnancy or lactation Symptoms of the cough for more than 24 hours Known immune deficiency Lung disease (include asthma or COPD) Cardiac disease Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhoea Illiterate and has difficulties in filling in the diary History of Diabetes Mellitus Current smoker, Smoking history >10 pack per year
