Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA I & II Non-difficult airway Conventional/standardized approach to post-induction airway access Single physician-managed airway access Experienced physician (Consultant and /or > 10 years post-training experience) Adequate training level
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1-Anticipated airway difficulty 2-Inadequate training level (untrained, in- training residents, non-dedicated experienced anesthesiologists) 3-Any non-conventional or aided approach to airway 4-American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) status III-IV patients 5-Uncontrolled hypertension 6-Preexisting dental problems and the absence of routinely used functional equipment (OT-table, laryngoscope, endotracheal tubes).
