Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The diabetic patients those who were under metformin treatment (500mg twice a day) minimum for two years were included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with diabetic complications include retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, hypertension, and other diseases Patients on insulin treatment and hypoglycemic treatment were excluded from the study.
