Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All Infants inborn and out-born admitted in the Neonatal Unit of PGIMER Chandigarh requiring partial exchange transfusion for polycythemia will be prospectively enrolled after obtaining written informed consent from the parents
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a) Presence of major congenital malformations. b) Negative Modified Allen?s test on both arms.
