Intervention1: Guduchi satva: 500 mg BD with water for 28 days Control Intervention1: Guduchi ghana: 500 mg BD with water for 28 days

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patient having classical signs and symptoms of madhumeha (diabetes mellitus). Random blood glucose level more than or equal to 200mg/dl or Fasting blood glucose level more than or equal to 126mg/dl or Two hours blood glucose level more than or equal to 200mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age more than 70 years and below 25 years. Patients having IDDM. Known case of tuberculosis,HIV positive, malignancy, cardiac disorder. patients having chronic complications of diabetes mellitus i.e microvascular(retinopathy, neuropathy and nephropathy) and macrovascular (coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and cerebrovascular disorder) complications.
