Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals between 18 to 64 years of age with or without history of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease. 2. Individuals who are �sedentary� i.e. Spending less than or equal to 600 MET minutes of energy per week as assessed by the self-report. 3. Those who are in the stage of contemplation ( i.e. those of who are willing to do exercise in the next six months ) and preparation ( i.e. those who are not physically active regularly )according to the stage of behavior change

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with physical deformity and are bedridden 2. Individuals who are less likely to reside in that area during the study period. 3. Individuals who have disease conditions where PA is contraindicated or advised not to exercise such as serious cardiac or respiratory diagnoses, rheumatoid arthritis, neurological disorders and mental illness

1. An increase of 20% in the proportion of people moderately active as defined by ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) recommendation in the intervention group when compared to the control group Timepoint: Baseline to end line (one year period)
