Normal blood flow, internal appearance of blood vessel, blood pressure alters as age advances. Presently there is no prospective comprehensive study on Indian population. To study these patterns in both sexes above 18years who donot have high blood sugar, high blood pressure & high cholesterol level

Intima medial thickness, flow mediated dilation of peripheral arteries and arterial stiffness in healthy population in age group between 18 to 30years & more than 65 - NOVAS NOrmal population VAscular Stiffness

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Induction of transient ischemia on brachial artery & release & its response by Doppler & imaging Normal intima medial thickness in different ages & sex without risk factors condusive for thickening by Doppler & imaging of carotid artery To find out the stiffness of central & peripheral vessel in both sexes in normal people without risk factors of different ages by brachial artery pulse wave pattern, pulse wave velocity assessment & derivation of aortic pressure & pulse pressure by tonometryTimepoint: one year
