Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Full term healthy infants, less than 3 months of postnatal age, either exclusive or partial breast fed, who will attend the immunization clinic for first DPT vaccination according to universal immunization programme.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. All infants who have required hospital stay for more than 48 hrs 2. Perinatal asphyxia ( 5 mins apgar score less than 7) or delayed cry if born at home 3. IUGR wt less than 10th percentile for gestational age 4. Pre- term deliveries ( less than 37 weeks of gestation) 5. Previous surgery
