Intervention1: submaximal exercise test: balke treadmill protocol : men: speed-3.3mph,starting grade-0%,at 1 minute - increase grade by 2%, after 2 minutes and each minute thereafter increase in grade

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: sedentary individuals with body mass index more than 24.9kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: individuals with known cardiopulmonary impairments and those who are on regular medications

1. submaximal ejection fraction 2.heart rate recoveryTimepoint: submaximal ejection fraction measured within 1 minute of stopping the exercise test. heart rate recovery at the time of stopping exercise test,and at 1st, 3rd, 5th minute thereafter.
