Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Gastric adenocarcinoma ECOG Performance Status junction from above) No evidence of metastatic disease on PET CT (or other investigations carried out for metastatic work up) Tumour infiltrating adjacent organs (T4 disease), if the involved organ has been resected at the time of surgery No evidence of Ascites  Peritoneal cytology negative for malignant cell if done Surgery performed at a HCG centre Surgery described as curative by the surgeon  Surgery performed upfront or after neoadjuvant chemotherapy/or chemoradiation.Â
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Stage 4 disease found during surgery (peritoneal deposits, liver metastasis, ascites, omental nodules, discontinuous with the primary tumour) Patient who had stage 4 disease at the outset e.g. Ascites, has responded to chemotherapy and has undergone surgery. The patient has undergone Ivor Lewis Operation for proximal gastric cancer.
