Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients of ASA grade I and II, age > 18 years with anticipated difficult intubation, posted for surgery of carcinoma buccal mucosa

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with deranged coagulation profile, having grossly deviated nasal septum, midline neck mass, tracheal abnormalities, with mouth opening < 1cm, with history of xylocaine allergies.
