Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? All cases referred to the Dept. ofRadiodiagnosis with clinical suspicion of pulmonary embolism ? Age >18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Allergy to contrast agents ? Deranged renal function test (Sr.Creatinine >1.5 mg/dL) ? Pregnant female

MeasureTime frame
Contrast enhancement in the pulmonary arteries: The variables under evaluation would be attenuation values at the â?¢ Main pulmonary artery (MPA) â?¢ Right and left pulmonary arteries at 1 cm from the bifurcation The mean pulmonary vessel enhancement would be calculated. The amount of contrast per unit Body Mass Index of the patient required to attain a given contrast enhancement would be calculatedTimepoint: 15 months

MeasureTime frame
The quality of the scans would be evaluated by two radiologists based on the optimal contrast enhancement reached by using the amount of contrast calculated from the formula derived.Timepoint: 15 months
