Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Contrast enhancement in the pulmonary arteries: The variables under evaluation would be attenuation values at the â?¢ Main pulmonary artery (MPA) â?¢ Right and left pulmonary arteries at 1 cm from the bifurcation The mean pulmonary vessel enhancement would be calculated. The amount of contrast per unit Body Mass Index of the patient required to attain a given contrast enhancement would be calculatedTimepoint: 15 months | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The quality of the scans would be evaluated by two radiologists based on the optimal contrast enhancement reached by using the amount of contrast calculated from the formula derived.Timepoint: 15 months | — |
