Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: euthyroid cases of ASA Physical Status I - III, height 145-165 cm, body mass index 25±10%, posted for thyroid surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: deranged coagulation profile, H/o allergy to any local anaesthetic drugs, retrosternal goitre, cardiorespiratory disease, any contraindication to regional anaesthesia.
