Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American society of anesthesiologist (ASA) I?II 18-70 years either sex elective total hip replacement or total knee replacement surgery under regional anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA III-1V Known hypersensitivity to any of the drug under study Renal or hepatic insufficiency, History of asthma, chronic pain, recent gastro duodenal ulcer, coagulopathy, Previous cerebral vascular accident history Recent myocardial infarction (within 1 year)

To measure pain scores at rest and on movement on a 100 mm visual analogue scale (VAS)at 0,2,4,6,8,12,24 and 48 hours after admission to the post anaesthesia care unit and assuming a minimum relief of 20% reduction in VAS pain score on movement at the specified time mentioned Outcome Name: Postoperative pain reliefTimepoint: 02 years
