Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess as to whether a distinct transitional zone (gap) exists between the inter-spinous ligament and ligamentum flavum. Timepoint: Before administration of neuraxial analgesia via combined spinal-epidural technique | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To analyze prospective impact of the study findings in terms of patient comfort, incidence of dural puncture with epidural needle, epidural catheter insertion ease and post neuraxial anesthesia pain (procedural, low backache).Timepoint: 1-2 year;To evaluate the gap in different age groups.Timepoint: ;Whether this gap facilitates clinical identification of ligamentum flavum during epidural anesthesia.Timepoint: 1-2 year | — |
