Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male or Female Subjects aged 18-70 years of age Subjects Diagnosed of Metabolic syndrome as per ATPIII criteria Subjects willing to take residential treatment for minimum 21 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not willing to give consent for the study. H/o CAD, Angina, TMT positive for inducible ischemia. Those suffering from Renal Calculi or had a history of renal calculi in past with oxalate or phytate calculi. Uncontrolled hypertension SBP200mmhg, DBP100 mmhg Uncontrolled diabetes () with or without diabetic nephropathy or microalbuminuria + ve. Those who are on parental insulin, statins etc. Patients taking other therapies such as homeopathy / ayurveda etc which can have direct or indirect effect on study variables. Abnormal RFT as defined by BUN, S Creatinine 1.2, S Uric acid , Pregnancy / Lactation, Those with Hypothyroidism, Cushing?s syndrome, pheochromocytoma. Intake of steroids / HRT Those who are regularly practicing yoga for last three months Those with Major psychiatric illness with cognitive impairments. Those with known COPD, Congenital heart defects.
