Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: COPD patients with stage II or Stage III disease as per GOLD guidelines Stable condition while the patient was receiving an acceptable medical regimen

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: COPD patients with co-morbidities which are a medical contra-indication for participation in a Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme COPD with co-existing bronchiectasis or Post TB sequelae Patients who do not wish to participate in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme for personal reasons
