Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Body Mass Index (BMI > 35kg/m2) 2. Male or female, Age between 18 years-65 years 3. ASA I-1V

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age < 18 years 2. Patient refusal to give consent 3. Hemodynamically unstable patients 4. Conversion to open surgery 5. History of pneumothorax 6. Severe asthma 7. Cardiac failure 8. Patients using CPAP machine preoperatively

MeasureTime frame
We will analyze the Alveolar arterial ratio and pao2/fio2 ratio. Further, all parameters will be analysed at 1 hour, 3 hours and 24 hours after the surgery. Timepoint: 1 hour ,Three hours and 24 hours after surgery
