Conditions

Health Condition 1: null- This study involves ASA-1 and ASA-2 patients posted for laparoscopic cholecystectomy. We are observing the hemodynamic stability with clonidine premedication following pneumoperitoneum.

Interventions

Intervention1: Tab Clonidine 150mcg 60 minutes before induction of anesthesia: 150mcg oral with sips of water 60 minutes before induction of anesthesia Control Intervention1: Tab Lorazepam 2mg orally

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in Heart rate, Systolic blood pressure, Diastolic blood pressure, Mean arterial pressure. From baseline to preinduction and during the pneumoperitoneumTimepoint: Better hemodynamic stability during Induction and pneumoperitoneum
