Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: >18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients admitted following cardiac arrest, those needing mechanical ventilation after 24-hours of ICU admission and patients whose relatives did not consent to participate in the trial were excluded
