Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient with Established type 2 diabetes (duration 1-10 years), on oral hypoglycemic agents (like Metformin or Glibenclamide) willing to participate in the study; Between 18-60 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient on insulin or patients with diabetic complications like neuropathy, retinopathy, nephropathy, diabetic foot, chronic ulcer and cardiovascular diseases

Fold expression level of genes related to endocrine, metabolism, Insulin signalling and regulation. Specific genes involved in the enzymatic degradation of insulin including PplGl.3, TC69229, UPlQ93YG9 and PPARG, KCNJ11, CDKAL1, CDKN2A-CDKN2B, IDE-KIF11-HHEX, IGF2BP2 SLC30A8 and other associated gene involved in the progression and onset of type 2 diabetes.
