Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: women having the history of blighted ovum (detected by USG) but chromosomally competent conceptus, will be tested for thyroid status and thyroid autoimmunity.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Any abortion other than blighted ovum, detected sonographically. 2.Women already on thyroid hormone replacement or taking corticosteroids for any reason.

MeasureTime frame
1. prevalence of thyroid autoimmunity in chromosomally competent conception but blighted ovum 2.Success in subsequent pregnancy with thyroid hormone replacement in presence of thyroid autoimmunity, even if the TSH level is below 2.5 miu/ml.Timepoint: No fixed time point for assessment. Women will be assessed in subsequent pregnancy after getting thyroid hormone treatment.
