Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Biopsy proven Squamous cell carcinoma of the oropharynx, hypopharynx and larynx. ? AJCC stage T1-3 ,N0-2c, M0 patients with pre treatment tumour measurements. ? Surgery of the primary tumor limited to a biopsy. ? KPS>=60 ? Age>=18 and <=70 years ? No prior history of therapeutic irradiation. ? Patient willing and reliable for follow up. ? Patients nutritional and physical condition compatible with planned therapy. ? Signed study specific consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? T1N0 M0 of vocal chords ? T4 tumor , N3 Nodal stages ? Evidence of distance metastasis. ? Previous therapeutic irradiation for head and neck cancer. ? Active untreated infection which preclude the use of systemic chemotherapy or would interfere with completion of treatment ? Any histopathology other than Squamous carcinoma ? Primary nasopharyngeal cancers ? Pregnant or lactating woman.
