A clinical Trial to study effects of two drugs nitroglycerine plus diltiazem and Nicorandil used to prevent contraction of your artery in the arm during the angiography when radial artery is used for Cathetarisation.

To compare the efficacy and side effects of intra radial artery bolus of nicorandil over a combination of nitroglycerine and diltiazem in transradial catheterization.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patient will have standard indications for coronary angiography. 2. All patients would be Allens test positive and suitable for radial angiography

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The radial artery diameters immediately post sheath insertion and after the antispasmodics will be measured at 3 different levels using standard automated QCA . The vasodilatory response will be calculated as the percentage increase between the pre and post medication diameters, taking the mean of the three values. We will finally compare the change in the vasodilatory reponse between the two groups. Timepoint: 1

Secondary
