Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Adults > 18 years of age b. Known bronchial asthma patients c. PEFR < 75% of expected value d. RR > 25/min e. Spo2 < 95%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. COPD b. Pneumonia c. Pleural effusion d. Hemodynamicllay unstable (systolic BP < 90 mmHg, HR > 150/min) e. Acute pulmonary oedema f. Ischemic heart disease g. Upper airway obstruction h. Pregnancy i. Facial deformity j. Altered sensorium
