Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Child 18-60 months with any degree of malnutrition (mild, moderate, severe) not requiring hospitalization, studying in the balwadis run by CHAD, residing in the locality for the duration of the trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Child <18 months or >60 months, not studying in the balwadis run by CHAD, requiring hospitalization or transfusion in case of severe anaemia, with known food allergies, not residing in the locality for the duration of the trial.
