Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 30-65 years with Killips Class I, II or III at admission for MI, Proximal and/or mid left anterior descending artery involvement by angiography, Left ventricular ejection fraction 20-50% by MUGA.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: PCI done within 2 hrs of MI, Cardiogenic shock ,Killips Class IV, Left ventricular ejection fraction < 20% by ECHO, Impaired renal function ? Creatinine > 2mg%

The primary outcome is the improvement in Left Ventricular Ejection Factor (LVEF) measured by Multi Gated Acquisition (MUGA) Scan.Timepoint: 6 months	—
