Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with refractory epilepsy -seizures>2/month for morethan 6 months well controlled epilepsy- seizure free for morethan 6 months normal healthy controls

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: diabetes,renal failure,those who are taking drugs which autonomic side effects.
