Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The subject should be between the age of 18-65 years; 2. The subject should be in good general health. 3. The subject should be a regular user of toothpaste and a toothbrush. 4. The subject should exhibit dental hypersensitivity as shown by discomfort by the two test stimuli in relation to at least two teeth. 5. Identifying the hypersensitive teeth with a thermo-electric device which exclusively meant for measurement of hypersensitivity 6. The subject should be willing to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Dental pathology which caused pain similar to dentinal hypersensitivity (e.g., dental caries). 2. Orthodontic appliances, restorations (crowns, cervical restorations, bridge work) that interfered with evaluations or would be a cause of possible pain. 3. Allergy to chemicals used in the study products. 4. Excessive gingival inflammation.
