Brief summary
Background. The incidence of stunting in Surabaya is still above the WHO threshold of 20%. Cognitive development in children aged 3 to 4 years and socioemotional development in children aged 36 to 72 months are jeopardized by stunting. Stunting can be caused by a mother's lack of education and knowledge regarding child development stimulation. This study aims to develop and analyze the effect of online stimulation education on simulation practice and the socioemotional development of children among mothers of stunted children aged 2 to 5 years. Method, The research design uses a quantitative research approach. The types of research used are quasy experimental design, pre-test, post-test, control group design. The intervention provided in this study was online developmental stimulation education for mothers of stunted children aged 2-5 resistant to improve the practice of stimulation and socio-emotional development of children, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (SDG) approach. The total sample consisted of 92 respondents (46 treatment groups and 46 rules). The research instrument is a questionnaire given before and after the intervention. Analysis using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate statistical methods.

Online Education Interventions The study used the Theory of Planned Behavior approach to examine the effect of online developmental stimulation education on mothers of stunted children aged 2-5 who were resistant to the practice of stimulation and children's socio-emotional development. 1. The online educational intervention provided to respondents is an advanced stage of previous research. The first phase of research produced a product in the form of an educational e-module to stimulate children's socio-emotional development, which was designed according to the needs of mothers who have stunted toddlers aged 2-5 years and used as a medium for the educational process. Online educational interventions are provided through WhatsApp Group (WAG) through chat and video according to the module's content and e-module that respondents can access at a mutually agreed time. The number of respondents, 46, was divided into four groups. One group consists of between 10-15 respondents. Education is provided for 1 hour per virtual face-to-face for 12 virtual face-to-face. Online classes are held twice weekly, so it takes six weeks. Researchers provide educational interventions to participants, and researchers are pediatric nurses. To find out the attendance of participants in education, researchers shared an attendance link and asked participants to write down attendance in the chat column at WAG. 2. The study was conducted on a sample not randomly but in the determination of the Center for Public Health as a research area was carried out randomly. Researchers determined four community health centers as intervention groups and four groups as controls.

Exclusion criteria
Mothers have stunted toddlers aged 2 – 5 years with chronic diseases.
