Brief summary

The purpose of the present study was to examine our institutional experience in a cohort of patients treated with partial nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma stage pT2. We analyzed 25 patients treated by partial nephrectomy regarding the overall, cancer-specific and perioperative outcome. The results were compared with those of recently published studies on the same topic.

Interventions

A retrospective review of our prospectively entered nephrectomy registry (Departement of Urology, University of Bern) was performed between 2015-2016. 25 patients were identified who underwent partial nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma stage pT2 at our institution between 1979 and 2014. Data were analyzed regarding perioperative, oncological and overall outcomes.
