Brief summary
It is known that regular exercise has a positive effect on improving depressed mood in adults. At this stage it is not known if exercise offers the same benefits to young people. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of exercise on reducing symptoms of depression among adolescents and young adults.

Inclusion criteria
Aged 15-25 years, current diagnosis of major depressive disorder, routine access to the internet
Exclusion criteria
Other psychiatric illnesses (e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) or acquired brain injury, health condition or physical injury that would interfere with capacity to exercise, inability to stay in geographical area for length of intervention, pregnancy
