Inclusion criteria

Confirmed diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy Ability to swallow pills Not pregnant

Exclusion criteria

Contra-indication to cardiac MRI, including administration of gadolinium-based IV contrast Co-existing cardiac condition with may contribute to myocardial fibrosis Unable to take aldosterone antagonist
