Brief summary
This study has been designed to determine if the application of skin moisturising cream twice a day to the limbs of aged care residents will reduce the development of skin tear injuries.
Interventions
A generic brand skin moisturising lotion will be applied twice daily to the limbs of consenting residents in aged care facilities for 6 months.

Pre-exisitng dematalogoical condition Current use of steriod creams or prescribed skim creams GP refusal to participate
