Brief summary

The study will look at whether Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is effective in helping individuals deal with food cravings.

Interventions

Emotional Freedom Technique will be delivered by a registered psychologist in a group format. The program will be made up of 4 sessions each two hours in length delivered once a week.

Inclusion criteria

Experiencing food cravings Being overweight or obese - have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or greater

Exclusion criteria

1) eating disorder 2) psychotropic medication 3) Diabetes 4) Pregnant
