Brief summary

Prospective audit of timing and administration of WHO Safe Surgical Checklist in 100 elective and acute theatres at Auckland Hospital over the period November 2010 - January 2011.

Interventions

Single centre, prospective observer audit of current practices in the timing and administration of the WHO Safe Surgical Checklist use at Auckland City Hospital, theatres undertaken from November 2010 to January 2011. Practises are rated and recorded on a Compliance Assessment Tool designed for this study.
