Brief summary

In this study we are seeking to evaluate the implementation of an education program addressing exercise prescription for falls prevention designed for health professionals in regional Victoria. In particular, a face-to-face mode of facilitation will be compared with online based facilitation.

Interventions

Online Education Program in Exercise Prescription for Falls Prevention. The online education program will be delivered via the 'Moodle' online learning system, with 4 x 2 hour sessions, followed by a multiple choice question examination, and a course evaluation survey. This mode of delivery will involve no face-to-face contact between faciliator and participant.

Current Practising Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Nurse. Contact with patients at risk of falls Access to Internet

Exclusion criteria

Profession other than nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist. No access to internet. No interaction with falls risk clientele.
