Brief summary

Although a number of studies on efficacy of psychosocial and pharmacological treatments in preventing repetition of suicidal behaviour have been conducted, still there is a lack of evidence to indicate the most effective treatments for suicidal patients. The main objective of the study is to examine the effectiveness of a psychotherapeutic intervention (a modification of dialectic behavioural therapy) in treatment of individuals who have attempted suicide.

Interventions

Modified version of dialectic bahaviour therapy not inclusive of group supervision (16 sessions, subject to continuation if needed). Study participants will be followed-up over the period of 24 months and the recruitment into study is planned for six months.
